Service at Breakfast was terrible , sat down at 11.10 & didn't get breakfast until 12.00 , when queried we were told the poached egg was the reason for the delay !!!!! when breakfast finally arrived, one of the group didn't get what they ordered . I ordered french toast & I got 1 slice which I think was poor value. We had booked a triple room , put room only had 2 beds , a double & single , usually a triple is 3 single beds

Thank you for taking the time to put forward your comments. I apologise for the long delay you experienced at breakfast on the Sunday morning of your stay. I can assure you that this is not a normal standard of service. As a result of your comments, I have met with my team to discuss procedures. We have made a number of changes and I am confident that they will improve the standard of service we deliver at breakfast. Unfortunately we do not have rooms with three single beds. The information we had for your reservation was for a double and single room.
I hope this experience will not discourage you from returning to the Castletroy Park Hotel.

An excellent hotel the room I stayed in was fab and the hotel itself is really lovely but their main restaurant let them down. Its a bit expensive and before i arrived i did have a bit of a row with the manager because they had no available seats in the restaurant for residents when i went to book a table 3 days prior to going where did they expect the people staying in their hotel to eat!! Be careful when ordering water in the restaurant at the beginning of your meal because they bring out bottled water when you only want a jug and that came to an extra €13 on our bill!! Plus our vegetables were cold so we had to send them back. The starters were brilliant though and the staff are very nice and friendly.
