Carbury Cottage is a 4 star self catering house, situated just 3 kms from the picturesque village of Adare. On its own ¾ acre site that features an orchard as well as lots of room for children to play in a safe environment as the garden is fully enclosed. Surrounding the cottage are green fields where sheep and cattle graze peacefully depending on the season.
This stone cottage has been lovingly restored to make it cosy and comfortable while maintaining many of the features which gives it its character.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 people, a galley style kitchen and a cosy living room with a recently restored loft.

On N20 from Limerick 1st turn left after dual carriageway. 1st house on left.

Rooms

The cottage has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, and one with twin beds which can also be converted to a large double. This room features a loft which gives it a feeling of space and has a shower ensuite. The 3rd bed room has a single bed and has its original fireplace.
There is a family bathroom with bath and shower. This bathroom is fully wheelchair accessible.

Facilities

The kitchen is galley style with all modern conveniences which opens directly into the living area with its gas stove to keep you cosy. The living area features a loft which has been restored.
A washing machine and dryer are installed in an original stone shed outside which used to house the pigs!
The owners live just 2 minutes away and are happy to help you make the most of your holiday.

Adare is 15kms from Limerick City and the cottage is just off the N21 on the Limerick side of Adare. This makes it ideal for touring the region from the majestic mountains of Kerry to the wild beauty of Clare.
Locally there are 2 Golf courses in Adare, one of which is presently the home to the Irish Open until 2009. Ballybunion links Course is just an hour away. Horseriding, pitch and putt, walking, karting, horseracing are just some of the activities in the immediate area.
Adare itself offers many fine restaurants and pubs and some unique shops for happy browsing.

Bunratty Castle and Folk Park are well worth a visit for the whole family and Limerick itself and its history are worth exploring.
