The Waterfront Holiday Village is an approved self catering holiday rental located overlooking Dromod Marina and less than a 5 minute walk from Dromod Village in County Leitrim.
This development of self-catering accommodation is scenically located overlooking the marina. There are three bedrooms in the homes with the capacity to sleep six people comfortably with one double bed and four single beds. The interior of the property consists of a fully equipped open plan kitchen/dining area, cosy living area. Each of the rentals are furnished to a very high standard and also come with one en-suite bedroom.
While stay at The Waterfront Holiday Village, you are within easy reach of the Shannon Erne Waterway where you can relax as you meander your way down stream. Leitrim is bound by water, which supplies most of the recreation in the area. It’s definitely a fisherman’s paradise with a host of superb fishing spots scattered throughout the county. If you prefer to remain on dry land, then make you way to one of the guided tours at Parkes Castle. On the other hand, you can always travel to Swan Island Open Farm – perfect for the young and the young at heart.

Travelling from Dublin: Follow directions to the N4 motorway (Sligo Road). Once on the N4 simply follow the motorway and continue through the tool plaza. Continue to follow the N4 following the signs for Mullingar and Sligo. Stay on the main road which will bypass Mullingar, stay on the road and head for Longford Town. Just before entering Longford Town you will approach a large roundabout. Take the second exit, which is signposted for Sligo (you will bypass Longford). Continue on the main road following signs for Newtown Forbes and Sligo. You will pass straight through two further roundabouts heading towards Newtown Forbes.
Once through Newtown Forbes, continue on the N4, you will soon enter the town of Roosky. Again, keep straight and after a further 2km you will be in the village of Dromod. On entering the village, you will see a sharp left turn after Cox’s Steak House ( known locally as ‘Jimmy’s Bar’). Take this left turn and continue on for approx. 450metres down the road past a marina on the right handside. You have now arrived at ‘The Waterfront’ entrance gate.

Travelling by road from Shannon Airport: Limerick – N18 – Galway – N17 – Tobbecurry –N4 – Carrick on Shannon -  Dromond as above
