Hill Crest is a beautiful 2 storey country house built to a high standard, with a landscape half acre garden and hot tub.  This B&B is situated in the small village of Killenard just outside the town of Portarlington in Co. Laois.

There are 4 bedrooms in this B&B all beautifully furnished with ensuite facilities.

Directions

Hill Crest is located just off the Dublin/Portlaoise Road. Turn off at Jamestown about 5 minutes outside Monasterevin on the Portlaoise side.  Turn right and follow the signs for the Heritage Golf Club, Hill Crest is only 100 yards from here.

Coming from Portlaoise turn left in Ballybrittas and follow the sign for the Heritage Golf Club.  Hill Crest is about 5 minutes from the main road.

Local Area

Hill Crest B&B is only 100 yards from the Heritage Golf and Leisure Club, the hotel here is ideal for dinner, drinks or a round of Golf. 

Located beside the house is a Centra store and another restaurant.  Emo Court is an estate with Victorian house and acres of gardens which are open to the public with a tea room which is open daily. 

Fishing is popular in the area while there is also a canal with barges.

We had a fantastic night away in Hillcrest B & B. The owner Liz couldn't do enough for us, her house was amazing and decorated to an extremly high standard. The whole house was spotless and the breakfast was delish! We were attending a wedding at the Heritage hotel which was about a three minute walk away! I have no complaints at all, would definetly recommend this B & B 100%.
