Facilities are as follows:
Coolanowle Country House boasts 3 acres of beautifully mature beechwood private gardens with two historic flax ponds, where in bygone years flax was grown to make linen.
We have recently launched our brand new converted 'barn' function room. This is available for hire for birthday parties, anniversarys, communions, confirmations, conferences, weddings etc. We can also do the catering for such functions using meat from our onsite meat processing facility using organic beef, pork and lamb reared on our own organic farm here at Coolanowle. If guests wish to experience country living and farming first hand we can arrange viewing of the cows being milked aswell as a leisurely walk around the farm to see our farm animals.
Our evening meals are by appointment and are a mouth watering experience. They come highly recommended by Bridgestone, Good Food Ireland and Georgina Campbell guides. We use all our own organic meats and also grow some of our own seasonal salads and vegetables.
We also have a relaxing treatment room where you can get a massage, reflexology and a range of beauty treatments. Please note that this is strictly by appointment only.
