Castletown House is situated at the edge of Donaghmore Village in County Laois. It provides quality B&B accommodation in a 19th century family home that has been lovingly restored. When you arrive here, you will receive a 'Céád Míle Fáilte' and a welcoming cup of tea or coffee. The B&B has four guestrooms including a single room, a double room, a triple room and a room with a double and single bed. All rooms come with an ensuite and are equipped with a colour TV.

From the M7 Motorway (Dublin/Limerick road) exit the motorway at Exit 21 and take the Rathdowney road R 435 to Donaghmore village and follow sign for Castletown House B/B. From the M8 Motorway (Dublin/Cork road) exit the motorway at Exit 3 and take the Rathdowney road as far as the 50 km speed limit coming into Rathdowney, turn right here and continue for approx. 1 mile until you come to a cross roads - turn left here and we are up this road on the right. . The accommodation also provides a babysitting service, private car parking and a garden for guest use. This impressive B&B has been recommended by Brittany Ferries, Dillard Causin and Frommers. It was also an agritourism award winner in 1990, 1996 and 1997. On its grounds you can explore the remains of a Norman Castle. The B&B is just a stroll from the picturesque village of Donaghmore, which was chosen as a setting for the film 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'. While here take the time to appreciate the countryside of County Laois and visit attractions like Emo Court and Gardens, the Rock of Dunamaise and the Round Tower at Timahoe.
