It was a lovely hotel and the staff was very pleasant. The rooms were quaint and clean. The food at the resaurant was excellent. It was located only about a block from Kilkenny Castle and local shopping. I thought it was a great value.
The restaurant is excellent and the staff very personable and helpful. I did think that in some cases the "detailing" on the physical aspects could be a bit more refined (e.g., no soap holders in showers, counter-intuitive shower dial) maybe in keeping with the fine ambience of the restaurant.
