Twin Oaks is a quaint and well presented bungalow style B&B located in a peaceful rural setting just outside Kilkenny city in County Kilkenny. Nicely furnished and cosy, this guesthouse has a relaxing garden area where you can have a gentle stroll, and is just 5 kilometers from the centre of Kilkenny. There’s also a very pleasant sitting room where you can recline in peace with a cup of tea or coffee. Twin Oaks has three guest rooms, two of which have en suite facilities, the standard room has its own bathroom outside of the room but for the use of the guests only in the standard room.

Travel south, from Kilkenny city, on the Kells rd, R697 for 5km. Turn right at crossroads with sign for Twin Oaks. Continue for 400 mts off this road. Sign outside bungalow on left side. Travelling from Dublin on the M7 look for the turn off for Kiklenny the M9. Travel towards Kilkenny and take exit 9 for Kilkenny City. Travel on this road the N10 for approx two kilometres. Look for a sign for Twin Oaks on the right side of the road. Turn left at this sign and travel for two kilometres. Look for sign at crossroads, travel in direction of sign for 0.5 kilometres. Sign is outside house on the left hand side of the road.
The whole residence is non smoking and fully centrally heated, and there are family friendly facilities such as a babysitting service and a cot. Guide dogs are also welcome at the property, all rooms are on the first floor. Staying at Twin Oaks means you are within touching distance of the enchanting city of Kilkenny, which has become famous for its sleek limestone architecture and its wealth of monuments such as St. Canice’s Tower and Kilkenny Castle. Check out the Black Quarry just a short distance away from town where the town's limestone was originally quarried. Golfers can play a number of courses from Kilkenny Golf Club to the magnificently opulent Mount Juliet Course in Thomastown, and outdoor types can go for walks in the nearby Slieveardagh Hills or do a spot of fishing in the River Nore. Being situated in the countryside affords a peaceful atmosphere with the opportunity of a quiet walk without the danger or noise of heavy traffic. A small picnic area at the rear of our house is available for a relaxing tea or coffee,or even a cool drink during a warm spell of weather. If children are part of your group they are very welcome to enjoy the freedom and security of our garden beside the picnic area.
