German by birth, Rudolf Heltzel has lived and worked in Kilkenny since 1966. At his studio, gold, silver and precious stones are worked into magnificent contemporary, yet eminently wearable jewellery. His instantly recognisable designs have won him international acclaim. They have featured in European, American and Asian publications. He also undertakes individual commissions and design work.
