Staying at the Moate Bed & Breakfast means you’ll have plenty of things to do. Freshford itself is picturesque little village with some nice pubs and restaurants, while the surrounding landscape of the Slieveardagh Hills makes for an excellent place to go walking. Sitting handily on the road linking Kilkenny to Cashel, this guesthouse is ideally placed if you want to head into either town for some shopping or sightseeing. Golfers are spoilt for choice in the area, with courses at Kilkenny, Castlecomer and Thomastown where the famous Mount Juliet is located.
