Keith and Kathleen Leadbetter invite you to come and see for yourself how hand-made glass is created. At Jerpoint Glass there are eight glassmakers who work in teams to make and finish glass by hand. They use simple hand tools, holding the glass with a puntil iron to reheat and bring each object to its perfect shape. They use their own creative judgement with each piece. The emphasis at Jerpoint is on glassware for the table.
