The village of Slieverue is located just two miles from Waterford City, so the Eigse Sliabh Rua festival is easily reached by anyone visiting the city during the month of November. Having started in the late seventies, this festival is a great venue for people to come and learn all about the local area straight from the mouths of local historians.
