The Celtic House was opened seven years ago by Angela and John Byrnes. Since then the Celtic House has become one of the busiest B&Bs in Kilkenny.

The Celtic House is just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Kilkenny City.
We are the nearest B&B to City center. You can walk everywhere from our B&B.
With Kilkenny tourist office on your left hand side, continue over St. Johns bridge up to the traffic lights at the top of John Street, take a left, take the next left and you are on Michael Street, we are down the street on the left hand side.
The bus and rail station is a few minutes walk away.
The Celtic House is conveniently located close to all the attractions of Irelands smallest city. The amazing medieval architecture, Kilkenny Castle and the menagerie of bars and restaurants all combine to make Kilkenny a joy to visit. Kilkenny is also known for its late opening shops.
The Celtic House is only a 30 minute drive away from the famed Mount Juliet golf course and for horse racing; Gowran Park is also within easy reach.
You are sure to find out why as you receive a warm Cead Mile Failte. The house is located in the centre of the city, with private lock up parking.
The rooms within the Celtic House are all ensuite, with double and triple rooms available. Cable TV is also a feature to entertain you when you are relaxing in the house. We have combo TV's which you can play your own DVD
