Welcome to the Brog Maker Hotel The Brog Maker was established in 1994 and is located just one mile from Kilkenny city. Here you will find a perfect base to relax and uwind while enjoying a pint and savour excellent food. Lunch and bar food are served all day. The hotel has free carparking and the bar has live entertainment at weekends and a big screen tv shows live coverage of soccer, hurling,rugby and other major sporting events. There is also a conference room available if required. The beautiful medieval city of Kilkenny is only a short walk away with and has excellent shopping facilities. A direct taxi service available on request. Our pub has won the Black and White award for best new comer, two Black and White Kilkenny County Winner awards, Dining pub of the year award 2003,2004,2005,2006.2007.

The pub is situated on the Castlecomer Rd, on the left side coming from the city centre. Kilkenny city is only one mile (10 mins walk) away.

This was a basic budget hotel. The breakfast was very good and I got a free Sunday Indo paper, which was handy. It is good value for the cheap price. Was only there for a night out in Kilkenny and walked in and out of the town in about 10 mins.

The Brog maker hotel is a family friendly hotel. Facilities include children’s meals. After a day touring the sites of Kilkenny you can tuck into some delicious bar food in the hotel’s bar and later on enjoy a pint with friends while listening to some live traditional music. The hotel also has a beer garden.
