This is a family run B&B with friendly atmosphere and stunning views of the countryside, a perfect setting for a peaceful nights rest after a days shopping or sight seeing in the medieval city of Kilkenny.

A trip to Kilkenny city is a real treat. The city is become known far and wide for it’s beautifully restored old buildings as well as it modern stores and quaint restaurants. It’s still small enough to allow you to explore the medieval city on foot with such attractions as Kilkenny Castle, Rothe House and The National Craft Gallery.

If you would like to get out of the city, take a guided tour of Dunmore Cave or just wander the country lanes and experience the undiscovered beauty of Kilkenny.

The hosts were very helpful. While small, the room was clean and well-kept. The bed was very comfortable and Marie's breakfast in the morning was delicious! My room had a lovely view of the countryside and the house is located close to the city, but well away from the noise of traffic. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it.

Each morning a home cooked breakfast is served in the dining room. There is a large garden for guest use, with plenty of slides and swings to keep children occupied, parking is also plentiful.

The house is situated overlooking some fantastic countryside scenery.  The family friendly home offers a cot and babysitting services if requested.
