The Discovery Park grounds are located around two rainbow trout angling lakes. The two man-made lakes were originally constructed by the Prior Wandesforde family as a centrepiece for the Demesne grounds. Having been drained in the past, the lakes are now fully re-instated with angling stands to allow full access to the water and a series of cascades link the lakes and channel the water back into the River Deen.
