Naas, situated on the edge of the Curragh with Punchestown and its own racecourse nearby, is world famous in racing circles. The Forge Inn, on Main Street, in addition to its cosmopolitan appeal is a particular favourite with the horseracing fraternity.
Its vintage facade is moulded in the traditional old-style idiom as is its exquisite interior. The theme is decidedly Victorian with luxury seating and furnishing enhanced with an equestrian flavour. A strong G.A.A. and sporting association is evident and some sporting celebrities claim this as their local.
Food plays a major role here with a choice of main courses, and a selection of starters and sweets available. There is a homely, unhurried presence in the convivial confines of this superb old-world emporium, whose trademark is hospitality, service and quality!
