Setanta Farmhouse is located about 6 km outside of Naas in County Kildare. It's a family run bed & breakfast that is also a mixed farm.

You can interact with some of the animals and there's also a garden for guest use. There are five (three en suite) ground floor bedrooms, all with tea/coffee making facilities. You can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the morning.

Some of the best things to see and do in the surrounding area include the National Stud, the Japanese Gardens, the Bog Museum and the Heritage Park. If you fancy a day at the races (motor racing that is!), Mondello Park is close at hand. Popular local activities include horse riding at Abbeylands Clane, golf at Woodlands Coill Dubh, scenic country walks, fishing on the Grand Canal and greyhound racing.

Leave M7 at Junction 10. Follow Mondello Park signs into Caragh Village. Setanta BB is signposted on first right after Church.

Directions from M4
Leave M4 at Naas sign. Take right at Barberstiwn Castle into Clane Village. Take right for Millicent Golf Club (opposite Campbell Tyres). Stay straight on this road for 3 miles to Setanta BB.

Kildare has always been renowned for its sporting heritage. It is a Golfers paradise. The K Club, venue for the 2006 Ryder Cup is close by. The PGA Club at Palmerstown House and Carton House both highly regarded courses are also in the proximity.

No visit to Co. Kildare would be complete without a visit to The Irish National Stud, Japanese Gardens and St. Fiachra's Garden. Setanta Farmhouse is an ideal base for touring Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains and Newgrange and Tara in nearby Co. Meath.

Mondello Park Racing Circuit has a full calendar of events and track days and is just minutes from Setanta.
Kildare is also the Horse Racing capital of the country. The Curragh, venue for all of the Irish Flat racing Classics and Irelands’ "Cheltenham" the Punchestown Festival are both just a short drive away.
