The cottages at Robertstown Holiday Village offer the holidaymaker Luxurious self catering accommodation in the heart of County Kildare, just a quickstep from Dublin on the east coast of Ireland.
Located in the village of Robertstown near County Kildare’s capital town of Naas; Robertstown holiday cottages are an ideal base for a sightseeing holiday in the country, a quiet retreat, or a base for fishing due t its proximity to the Grand Canal and the River Liffey and a host of smaller rivers in the locality. Golfing is popular with 26 courses to choose from. Being in the thoroughbred County, horseracing is a must and you can choose from the Curragh, Naas or home of the national hunt in Punchestown. The holiday cottages at Robertstown are ideal for travelling to Dublin, Kilkenny, Waterford and furtherafield.
A stroll along the canal
Karen and Glenn Gorey along with Marguerite have been offering a warm welcome to guests at Robertstown selfcatering cottage since 1999 and many guests return to enjoy the hospitality. The cottages are located on the Banks of the Grand Canal and have proven to be popular with families, couples and Robertstown itself is renowned for its pubs with local singers and traditional music can be heard  in any of the three pubs so you can drop in to round off your day at the heart and soul of the village.

FOOD HAMPER: Why not get us to do your shopping for you before you arrive. We will also pack it away for you so all you have o do when you arrive is put on the kettle, make a cuppa, sit back and begin your holiday. Ask us for our list, we will provide a full receipt of goods purchased as requested and this is payable on arrival.

WIFI: is charged at  € 25.00 per week or part of and a deposit of €50.00 on collection is required.

PETS
Your house trained pet is welcome to stay with you in our designated cottage at Robertstown Holiday Village. Please note that there are certain rules in place to ensure the other guests and the resident duck family at Robertstown enjoy your visit.
  • One dog only allowed, we do not accept any other type of pet to stay.
  • Please inform before you come to stay that you wish to bring your pet.
  • Please provide a leash which will be used while your dog is on the grounds and your dog must be in care of an adult when outside (your dog must not be left unsupervised either inside or outside).
  • The rules are in place to ensure all of our guests (with or without dogs) enjoy their stay.
From the M7 take Exit 10. 
Take R409 to Caragh. After Mondello Motor Racing Circuit take a left - travel for 1.6 miles to cross roads.
Go forward to Roberstown Village.
Keep the Grand Canal on your right and travel for 150 metres, the Holiday Village is on the right hand side.

Each cottage has their own entrance and a patio and garden leading to the Grand Canal.
All our cottages have 2 bedrooms and sleep 4 to 5 adults.(the cottages can sleep up to 5 people with Additional sleeping available on the sofa bed in the living room for the 5th person).

The double bedroom has a king size bed and the twin bedroom has two single beds.
Additional sleeping is available on the sofa bed in the living room. We can provide a cot and high chair if required.
All bed linen and towels are provided free of charge.

We have a large shower room with toilet and wash hand basin and overhead shaving light adjacent to the bedrooms and a second WC off the entrance hall.
The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, oven, grill and hob, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. We also provide crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans.
The Dining room, Kitchen, and Living room area is open plan with an open fire to snuggle up in front of !

For an additional cost of €30 , a hamper can be pre-ordered once your reservation has been made. On your arrival, the local 'Gala' supermarket will provide a hamper of food including milk, bread, sugar, butter, jam, bacon, sausage, pudding, cooking oil, tea/coffee, salt/pepper, cereal, biscuits and washing up liquid.

Local Area
Set up your fishing berth at your cottage on the banks of the Grand Canal. The Grand Canal is renowned for course fishing with good catches of Bream, Hybrids, Pike, Rudd, and Tench. There are fishing stands at Ballyteague, approximately 1-mile away and are purpose built for people with disabilities. Travel in the opposite direction of Digby Bridge and Prosperous famous for its competitions is just 4 miles away.

The tranquil Village of Robertstown is just a 1 minute walk away with 4 Pubs for the craic and music, There are two Grocery Shops, a Post Office, and majestically standing at the end of the village is the old Grand Canal Hotel.
Take a stroll down to the marina, admire the many boats - listen to the birds singing, watch the fish scurrying to catch the bait from the fishermen but avoiding the hook! Barge trips depart from the Hotel on a regular basis from during the Summer months.
Just a short stroll away is Lowtown marina. Lowtown is the crossroads of the canal to the Barrow line, Shannon line, and the Dublin line.
Game Angling
On the Royal Canal from Kilcock to Killucan lock, flowing through the bog of Northwest Kildare, it is favoured for its dark waters. The Liffey, Slate, and Rye rivers give access to Game angling of Trout, Salmon, and Pike all within a few minutes drive of Robertstown. Fishing bait is available in the nearby town of Naas.
