I really enjoyed my trip to the Killashee House Hotel & Villa Spa. I have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions and I always find the staff very helpful and attentive.
I thought it was a lovely hotel very suitable for weddings the grounds were very well cared for unfourtunatley we had little time to visit the spa but we did try all the food services they were ok not exceptional a little over priced.
The hotel was great, but the spa was always overbooked and, actually, considered too expensive for the services!
Warm reception - particular ref to Ms C Carr, was a really pleasant experience after a long day. The ambience of the Hotel, is very olde worlde, which is very appealing in this world of modern minimalism.Overall had a great experience and will return again.
Nice setting ,pleasant and helpful staff, excellent food.
Breakfast was fab and staff were very attentive the breakfast room was delightful large imposing very grand. While the bedroom was clean and well appointed, it was very gloomy with brown the predominant colour, brown wallpaper streaked with light brown, brown carpet, off white ceiling, small window with off white net curtains brown brown brown. Decor needs to be brightened up very much.
Great food, service. Staff were very friendly and approachable. We got upgraded to a suite, although only disappointing thing about the suite was that the bathroom was very small.
The hotel was really beautuful, the rooms were prefect, they had taught of everything to ensure our stay was prefect at the hotel. Dinner and service in the Nuns kithchen was excellent.
Great place but expensive! Will use it again.
This is a wonderful place to go for a relaxing break. Highly recommended.
We had a great night in the Killashee house - they upgraded us to a suite - the room was really comfortable and old worldly. The piano bar was very ralaxing and the restaurant was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. We live in Kildare and just travelled about 15 miles - but it felt like a real break without the long journey!
Beautiful setting - so near and yet so far from this crazy world!! Atmosphere very warm and welcoming.
The rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated. The grounds of the hotel and public are very impression with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating areas for guests. There were a couple of nice little extra's for example slippers, molton and brown products, and we received a complimentary newspaper.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful setting. Food was top class.
Loved the building and location. It was a little busy as there was a wedding going on during our stay. We did enjoy the spa.
A delightful place. Interior rooms for having a cocktail or reading a book were spacious and relaxing. The grounds were conducive to strolling, or parking on a bench and soaking up the sun's rays. The restuarant and the staff were first class. The ambience was a mix of comfortability and poshness. It was a favorite accomodation in a 13 day trip that took us east coast to west coast and back.
