Highfield is an environmentally friendly golf course as little or no chemicals are needed to maintain the lushness of the course due to the nature of its terrain. During the 90's, thousands of new trees were planted to compliment the hardwood trees which were already on the course.

Highfield provides a challenge to all levels of golfers. It has a par 70 measuring 6,104 in distance.

The cleverly designed course has some notable features like water hazards and the first hole tees off from the roof of the golf course!
