Established 1883 The Curragh Golf Club possesses the oldest golf course in Ireland, laid out in 1852 by David Ritchie of Musselburgh. Other 1850s golfers included the Earl of Eglinton (Captain, Prestwick 1854). The present golf club was founded in 1883, when the Highland Light Infantry was stationed in the adjoining military camp. A new clubhouse has recently been completed....

The K-Club is one of Ireland's premiere Golf clubs. The course is of championship standard. It is located in the confines of the luxurious surroundings of the Kildare Hotel and Country Club....
