Our base in Rathangan, (an important town in the canals hayday) is ideally located in the centre of the canal system. Which ever way you choose you are guaranteed the freedom to explore the hidden waterways of Ireland for yourself away from the crowds and the hustel and bustle indeed a very different kind of holiday awaits you. Facilites: * The barge is powered by a diesel engine, is economical and very easy to operate. * The barge has hot water, W.C., shower and gas heating. * Bicycles and fishing rods are available for hire. * Canal and river guide books are provided on board.
