Stay at a traditional stone cottage in Tousist, on the Beara Peninsula, in County Kerry.
Dating from the 1700’s, the building has been restored to its former glory and retains the genuine character of bygone days. The property is located on a farm, a two-minute walk from the shores of Kenmare Bay and Lehud Harbour. Features of this three-bedroom holiday cottage include ample car parking and a private garden, where you can admire the breathtaking surroundings.

Directions

From Kenmare town drive along the R571 for 16km. Follow signs for Westland Holiday Homes. After 16km, on the right side of road, is the Lake house Pub & Restaurant. After passing this drive for approx 2km - Westland Holiday Home sign is on the 2nd road on the right after the Lake house Pub. Drive down this road for 3km. Westland traditional Cottage is on the left side of the road.

Description


Tuosist, located between Kenmare and the West Cork border, is renowned for its magnificent scenery. This spectacular area, also known as the "Gateway to West Cork," is a walker’s haven. The Kerry Way has many fine walking trails for you to explore. There are numerous great fishing spots to choose from, including Clonee Lake and Kenmare Bay. In the evening, the nearby towns and villages provide plenty of choice for entertainment.
