This region has scenery that is difficult to equal where the beauty of mountains, lakes and woodland can be seen in varying light and shade whatever the weather. Because its shore is washed by the golf stream, this region enjoys a mild climate where tropical plants flourish outdoors. Situated close to the Ring of Beara, it’s the ideal base from which you can tour most of the beautiful and interesting towns and villages of Cork and Kerry. At Waterfalls, guests can enjoy homemade jams, marmalade and baking. Hillwalking is very popular in this area, there is horseback riding and pony trekking closeby.

Nora Mae was very sweet and kind. Her little Jack Rusell named peanut took us on a walk that led to beautful waterfalls. Very charming complete with animals and a peacock!
