The beach at St Finan's Bay is a 5 minute walk from the house . The Bolus Barrack Loop ( has recenly been deveoped ) is about 3 miles  away . There are numerous other walks in the locality. The Skellig Chocolate and Cafe is also only about a 5 minute walk away .

Portmagee and Ballinskelligs are about 6 kms from the house . There is a restaurant and bars in each of those locations . There are boat trips to the Skelligs Rocks from Portmagee ( weather permitting) most days .
