 Blennerville Windmill Complex is being rejuvenated for tour groups. The complex now hosts the fantastic windmill (Ireland’s largest and oldest working windmill) which was originally built in 1800. It has:
a new exhibition – 1880-1920, a living history – detailing life in Ireland between these times
an emigrant database which is fully searchable where visitors can find if they have any family members who left Ireland during the famine times
