is a stunning family run Bed & Breakfast set amongst the Caha mountains overlooking The Sheen River just outside Kenmare in Co. Kerry.

The Ford is only 6 miles from the quaint and picturesque town of Kenmare and 11 miles from Glengariff, located on the Beara Way and very popular with walks and people touring the Beara Penninsula.

Kenmare town is a great place to visit with it's thriving restaurants with locally caught seafood, it's many cafes and lively bars. If you fancy a bit of shopping Kenmare has a number of craft stores and galleries.
Kenmare Bay is an idea place for fishing or water sports. A marina has just opened recently about two miles from Kenmare town, providing Sailing and Canoeing amongst other water sports catering for all ages, with qualified instructions.
