Templenoe Heights Self-Catering House is situated in a picturesque rural setting on a hillside overlooking Kenmare Bay, located just 7.5km from the award winning heritage town of Kenmare. The house has a large private garden with orchard, maintained to a high standard. The entrance driveway leads to a generous paved car-parking area with level access to front and back doors. There is a good sized lawn in front of the house with south-facing patio.  Dining/Living room, bedrooms and patio have stunning views across Kenmare Bay to Caha Mountains and Beara Peninsula.

There are two bedrooms in the house, one ensuite with shower.  The house is suitable for wheelchair users/disabled.

Pebble beach, golf course and pub are all within 2.4km of the house.
 

Take Sneem road from Kenmare, At Templenoe turn right at sign for Cappaghnacush.
Go up hill and take first right turn.
Go half a mile to blue house on the left.

Nearest Airport: Farranfore (Kerry Airport) approx. 1 hour.
Approximate flight time from London to Farranfore (Kerry Airport) = 45 mins.

Master bedroom with 5ft double bed and ensuite toilet / shower room.
Second bedroom with 2 single beds. Foldaway bed available on request.
Main toilet / shower room and Ensuite shower room have level deck showers.

The main toilet/shower room is designed to suit wheelchair users. (Ensuite shower room may not be suitable for wheelchairs).

Local Activities
Local activities include sailing, kayaking, canoeing and fishing, all of which can be arranged through the local Activity Centre.  Cruises on Kenmare Bay can be arranged through Seafari.  Swimming pool and leisure complex available in Kenmare town.

Templenoe Heights is located on hillside  approx. 1.5 miles from Pat Spillane's Bar and approx 30 mins. drive from the famous Parcnasilla Hotel. There are many festivals and local events throughout the year, usually advertised on the local websites.

Distance to Kenmare: 6 miles approx.
If you want to see Kerry at its best, come to Kenmare (pop. approx 1,600). This award winning heritage town is situated at the head of Kenmare Bay in breathtaking scenery in what is considered to be one of the most unspoilt environments in Europe. Its location makes it the perfect base for discovering the South West of Ireland.

To the north lie the Macgillicuddy Reeks and the 10,000 hectare Killarney National Park with its mountains and views of the famous Lakes. To the west the scenic route of the Ring of Kerry runs along the coastline of the Iveragh Peninsula for approx 100 miles of dramatic views, pretty villages, sandy beaches and coves, and archeological sites. To the south is the wild, rugged Beara Peninsula with the spectacular Healy Pass. Kenmare itself is a buzzing lively town, renowned for its restaurants and pubs.
