Teac Altra

Cappamore, Glencar, Kerry Show on a map

Set in the Glencar highlands, close to the village of Glencar in County Kerry, this two-bedroom stone cottage  has been recently refurbished and extended to provide superb 4-star accommodation.  Very well equipped and decorated, the house makes an excellent base for touring the Iveragh Peninsual.  It is situated in the heart of the county beside the Caragh River and it boasts magnificent views of the McGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range.

With excellent angling facilities, you can fish to your heart’s content, or you might prefer to test your golfing skills at nearby Killorglin Golf Club. The town of Killorglin itself has many fine pubs and restaurants, where seafood is always on the menu.
