Warm Welcome to Sliabh Lodge
This beautiful property is located at the foot of Ireland's fabulous highest mountain Carrantuohill. It's central to all areas 8.5 miles from Killarney. The Welcoming Gap of Dunloe is just minutes drive. Its sits in the heart of Carrantuohill and you can take in the beautiful views of mountain to the rear of the house. Facilities include a large garden area with large parking to front and rear of the house.

Directions

From Killarney take the Killorglin road, take the first left after the Fossa church, heading for the Dunloe Hotel.  At the Dunloe Hotel take a left.  Through the Gap of Dunloe cross roads.  Continue until you come to another cross road, Kissanes shop on the right, go through this cross road again.  11th House on the left.

This beautiful property is an ideal touring base for Killarney, Tralee, Killorglin and the surrounding areas of Kerry. The Selfcatering holiday home is comfortable, spacious and beautifully furnished throughout.

The house is decorated to high standards sleeping seven guests. All rooms throughout are of large spacious design.

Places to visit include Killarney town which is lined with beautiful restaurants, pubs and shops. Killarney is also home to Muckross House and Gardens, Ross Castle and National Park. Other places of interest include the Gap of Dunloe and of course Carrantuohill. The towns of Dingle, Tralee, Killorglin and Kenmare are all within driving distance.
Activities such as angling, horseriding, hillwalking, cycling and golf can all be enjoyed locally.

Family with kids

Very hard to find with not the greatest instructions provided by the website. Although a number was provided, hard to find a phone box and no reception on our mobile. After finally arriving and finding the place, the house was fabulous. Very roomy and comfortable. Great kitchen and facilities. Would recommend for long stay as location is pretty remote, but very pretty.

We really enjoyed our stay in SLIABH LODGE; the property was very spacious and clean, and was good enough for three young families with little kids. I would highly recommend it to family and friends. (A+)
