Welcome to Shortcliff House, situated near the idyllic village of Milltown in the heart of the kingdom of Kerry, Ireland.
Shortcliff House bed and breakfast is set in a peaceful country location.
The property has secluded gardens, approved riding stables on site and it is only minutes a few minutes drive to golf and fishing. It is the ideal touring base for the Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Iveragh Peninsula and Gap of Dunloe.

We are located 1 kilometre off the N70, on a quiet country road, near the village of Milltown, situated on the far-famed Ring of Kerry.
Kerry Airport is only 15 minutes from Shortcliff House making us an ideal location for inboud and outbound flights to and from Frankfurt/Hahn.
Leaving Kerry Airport turn left and left again at the next junction. At the next junction in the village of Farranfore, turn right and follow the signs for Killorglin until you reach Milltown Village

The local village Milltown, is a small friendly village with a number of pubs, most serving food, and a great place to mix and mingle with the locals. During Summer season some of the pubs have music sessions one of two nights a week .   There is also a Country Market held on Saturday mornings.

Golf - There are 4 Golf Courses less than 25 minutes drive away. We are only 5 minutes away from Killorglin Golf Course.
Riding - Abbeyglen Riding Centre with indoor and outdoor arenas, catering for beginners and experienced riders, and offering lessons and trekking, is just across the road from Shortcliff House.
Beaches - There are two 'Blue Flag' beaches within 30 minutes drive

We are located 20 minutes drive from Killarney National Park.
The Park is a walkers & nature lovers paradise consisting of 25,000 acres, enlosing Killarney's three lakes, Muckross House and Gardens, Deenagh Cottage & the surrounding oak forest & mountains.
Aghadoe with its ancient ruins is a wonderful viewing point for the entire Park & Town of Killarney.
The Gap of Dunloe is one of Ireland's most scenic glacial-formed valley, renowned for its tour, walking & pony trekking.
