Local Area

Kenmare has an abundance of attractions, superb restaurants, lovely pubs and shops.  This house is run by the Maybury Family owners of Tara Farm and there is always someone to answer a question or guide you in the right direction on local sights and activities.

The house is equipped with local Maps for hill walking and a full information pack on everything you need to know on the area.  The owner is a keen fisherman so fishing trips can be arranged also golfing and hill walking.  Shooting in season Gillies can be arranged.

Description

The location of Seacrest is enviable as it is not part of a holiday complex and is completely on its own yet so near town.  It is ideal for couples, singles or small families.

The house has 2 bedrooms both on the ground floor.  Bedroom one has a King size bed which can also be split to make 2 single beds and bedroom 2 has two single or twin beds, this room has the option of a small bed for a child also and a cot is provided as well as high chair if needed by families. 

The bathroom has a bath, power shower, basin, toilet and a bidet.

Kenmare town is loccated on the Ring of Kerry  with spectacular countryside surrounds making this one of Ireland’s premier holiday resorts.  Add to this, top class golf courses, fantastic angling facilities and an excellent choice of retaurants, cafes, shops, galleries and a great nightlife  - you’ll definitely want to come back.

The kitchen dining room is fully equipped with dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, toaster and electric kettle.  There is also seating for up to 5 comfortably at the table.  The utility room has a washing machine and dryer and also space for golf clubs fishing gear etc. 

The main living room of the house as an open fireplace and is very comfortable with satalite TV, DVD player, music centre as well as internet access.  The hall doubles as a conservatory with cane furniture as it faces south and gets a lot of sun.

There are 2 forms of heat in the house , full oil fired heating by boiler and also the main fireplace in the living room has a built in boiler so when it is lit in winter it also heats the hot water and the radiators in the house.  This house is very compact and easy to heat and maintain.
