Room facing onto the carnival very noisey, not private, was not told before hand did not think it was value for money room small

Really nice hotel with friendly staff and service very good. Rooms were lovely and had a great time in the residents louge after.
Could have better lighting in the bathrooms suitable for putting on makeup.
It was a lovely break, we booked a table for dinner on the night, and to be honest we thought it would have been nicer, felt like because the table was booked for 8.15pm each course was just literally thrown at us to get us out as quickly as possible. Did'nt want to cause a scene so did'nt say anything.
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast disappointing. Veg option very poor.
Room 328 , we found excellent, lift access was good but sad to hear that room will be going as a private apartment.
Our allocated room had a problem with lights in the ceiling resulting in no available light in the room adjoining the bathroom and bedroom. Without having to ask, the hotel staff unlocked an adjoining room for our use providing us with a suite with excellent views.
The rooms were excellent.
