The cottage is located in the north of the Dingle Peninsula, along the scenic Conor Pass route.
For an excellent round of golf, Castlegregory Golf Club offers a challenging 9-hole links course. There is also an abundance of fantastic walking trails. Due to its proximity to sandy beaches, this area is popular among water sports enthusiasts, and it is also a noted angling centre. Tralee, the county capital, is 34 km away, and nearby Dingle has a superb range of bars and restaurants.
