One of Irelands most famous annual events, drawing crowds from all over the world as people come back home to Ireland after perhaps generations of being away. The festival includes a parade, free open-air concerts and lots more in the way of fun and merriment. The event is topped off by the crowning of the Rose, as decided by the panel of judges who evaluate which girl has the nicest personality.
