Like all Kerry towns, entertainment is very much to the fore in Castlelsland. The town comes to life during the traditional Padraig O Keeffe festival. Traditional musicians come from all over to honour the local fiddle player each September. A visit to the annual Halloween festival in Knocknagoshel is a must. Everyone in the town, young and old, gets involved and in costume. A wonderful occasion for all of the family. Castleisland is an ideal base for touring the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Tralee. A trip would not be complete without a trip to the Lakes of Killarney, Muckross House & Gardens and Torc Waterfall.
