Description

It is equipped with all the facilities needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay including a fully fitted kitchen, a spacious living area with a solid fuel stove, oil central heating and a large private garden with outdoor furniture.
Radharc na Cárthaí, with the backdrop of Glenbeigh village and Rossbeigh beach is the ideal location for all holiday makers with activities such as hill walking, golfing, fishing, horse trekking at its doorstep or unique Irish pubs and restaurants nearby.
Also nearby are shops, churches, bicycle hire, post office and a petrol station.

Directions to radharc na carthai

Follow the N70 from Killorglin town in the direction of Glenbeigh village. After about 7km you will come to ‘Caragh Bridge’, which is a single lane bridge so you must yield to traffic on the bridge.
Continue on towards Glenbeigh and after 1km TURN RIGHT down a lane on the right hand side of the N70. Look out for a tourist signpost on your left directing you down the lane to “Radharc na Cárthaí Self-Catering Accommodation”.

Local Taxi – Falveys, in Glenbeigh Village, 1km or 2 mins drive.

Rossbeigh Beach

The seaside resort of Glenbeigh is perfect for a family holiday. Magical, is a word that can best describe the unspoilt beauty of this region close to one of Ireland’s best beaches – Rossbeigh Beach. According to Irish folklore Rossbeigh Beach is where Oisín and Niamh galloped over the sea on their white horse to Tír na nÓg. This beach also has a stone tower at Rossbeigh point, which was once a lighthouse that guided merchant ships into and out of Castlemaine Harbour. Ships often got shipwrecked in these waters and the remains of such a wreck are still visible on the beach today. The sand dunes are very impressive some as high as 30m and hours of fun can be had in the dunes for young and old on long warm summer days. A life guard is present on the beach during the summer months.
