The beds are really uncomfortable and the layout of the hotel is very confusing ie trying to get to your room we were on the second floor and had to go through six corridors to get there.
The appartment was very nice, and spacious. The restaurant wasn't great. The kids menu of pizza and chips was very poor value for money as it was overloaded with chips and the pizza looked like a frozen cheap value one. It would be great to see good nutritious food on the menu for kids. However, we found the staff and the apartment great.
The restrauant was excellent, although pricey for breakfast. Best seafood chowder in the whole region (and we tried plenty). Was disappointed that they would not allow a 12 year old in the pool supervised after 8pm and that the young woman at the gym/pool was rude. Was suprised at her poor customer service skills as most others seemed good (that is why the fair mark). Check in was very good, rooms okay, clean and basic. Good shower pressure. Poor parking.
Facilities for kids good ie swimming, games room, Kids club. Bar entertainment new years eve on at 11 o clock bit late with Kids the night that was in. Staff members clueless of schedule.Couldn't get drink in Usher bar til 9:30 but could sit there, had to kept going to lobby bar for drinks. Bit of a weird set up.
The leisure centre was good but had alot of kids in it all the time. The TV was broken but the hotel staff fixed the problem right away.
When given a key to an occupied room, without fuss we were changed AND upgraded to a suite at no extra expense.
Very relaxing and clean.
Very friendly service and willing to accomodate most needs that were required.
We enjoyed the stay but next time were are ordering sunny weather!
Our room was lovely, plenty of room for the four of us. Very child friendly hotel. Ideal place to stay with the kids. Something for everyone. We all enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic value for money, gorgeous appartments and holiday homes, very spacious, very accommodating staff.
