Our overall feeling was that Parknasilla is a hotel that offers visitors lots of comfort and pampering... lots of space.. real fires, friendly staff that give guests space to relax.. lots of places to relax many with beautiful views. The walks are brilliant.. especially the one to the island and the bathing pool... The swimming pool and spa are the ultimate in luxury.. the new 'promenade ' in front of hotel is just perfect.. only one criticism.. maybe some of the decoration in corridors is in need of refurbishment... a bit tired.. maybe.. but overall a brilliant place for a short break. GReat light lunch... brilliant breakfasts.. super dinners...
Poor service. Room was not serviced properly and when we complained about the room nothing was done about it. We got engaged over the weekend and they did not even take a bottle of wine off our bill. Great Spa though.
I really enjoyed my stay, hotel grounds and scenery are fab. Lots of comfortable common hotel areas to sit and relax. Restaurant was excellant for Breakfast and Dinner. Service in the Restaurant was excellant but some bar staff appeared to have no experience and service was poor at times.
Excellent accomodation, great friendly staff, great spa. The Restaurant is over priced, as the food is not very good. Maybe I was unlucky.
The thermal spa and walking area and outdoor/indoor sitting areas made the holiday. Room was comfortable but small, no cot set up for infant on arrival. Nice views.
