Take the N22 from Killarney toward Farranfore/Tralee and drive approx ½ mile. Take the first left (uphill) signposted for Aghadoe. At the top of this hill, take the next left, again signposted for Aghadoe. After approx. 500 metres, you will see the entrance to Old Killarney Village and thatched cottages on your left hand side.
Aghadoe Heights: Great panoramic views over Lough Leane, Killarney National Park, Ross Castle, and Killarney Town. Killarney National Park: Walk through Ireland's first national park and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are many different walks to explore though woodlands and around the beautiful lakes. As well as walking the park, one can also hire bikes locally, or even enjoy a trip on the famous jaunting cars, which also offer routes through the park and onto Ross Castle.

These ‘C’ type holiday homes contain 3 bedrooms. Designed to a high standard, they are traditional on the outside with all the modern amenities one would expect inside. There are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, and an open-plan mezzanine floor with two extra single beds, providng accommodation for up to 8 people. All three bedrooms are ensuite, two with shower rooms and the third with a full bathroom. This can also be accessed via the living room. Complimentary Bed Linen and Towers are supplied.

The location was perfect and there was a bar / restaurant on site which was a great benefit as we were travelling with a small baby and was convienent in the evening time to get a bite to eat and not have to load everything into the car.
All cottages enjoy large open-plan lawns to both the front and back. Patio doors lead out to the garden and patio area, where garden furniture is supplied for each unit. There is a bar/restaurant onsite, as well as an outdoor children's play area. All cottages are fitted to a 4-star standard. The kitchens are fitted with washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven & hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and utensils. The living areas have open fireplaces, allowing you to savour an old-world atmosphere, with real turf fires. There is satellite TV and a direct dial telephone in the living room.
