When you arrive on Valentia either by car ferry or via the bridge from Portmagee proceed to the village of Chapletown which is in the centre of the island. When you arrive in Chapletown take the road adjacent to the Church which is signposted for the Grotto, proceed up this road and OAKLODGE is located 1Km from the village on the right hand side. The OAKLODGE name plate is on the left hand entrance pier.

Description

The accommodation consists of 5 Bedrooms. There is 1 double ensuite and 1 twin next to a large bathroom downstairs. Upstairs has 2 doubles, with 1 ensuite, a twin room, and a bathroom with toilet and washbasin.

The sitting room and dining room area is open plan and opens out onto a patio area with garden furniture. A barbeque is available on request. Flat screen TV with satellite channels, DVD, CD player and radio are provided. The sitting room has a solid fuel open fireplace, and oil-fired central heating is provided throughout the house. The kitchen/utility has an electric double oven/grill, electric hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and washing machine. Free bed linen and towels are provided, along with free peat for the open fire. There is ample car parking space available, and the gates can be closed for child protection.
