Kilflynn

  • Kilflynn is a pretty hamlet perched on the rolling hills of North Kerry.
  • The village which is thought to take its name from the hermit monk St. Flainn who once lived there, is situated on the N69, 10 km from both Tralee and Listowel.
  • The story of Lord Kitchener, the Earl of Khartoum, who lived nearby is told at St Columba's Heritage centre & museum, which is housed in a beautifully restored 18th century church in the centre of the village.
