Kerry Coast House is a waterfront bungalow at Templenoe Pier overlooking Kenmare Bay in a tranquil location.
This south-facing bungalow has a large open plan garden that leads directly onto the seashore, where it is safe to both fish and swim. The house is just off the Ring of Kerry which is 4 miles (7 km) from the picturesque town of Kenmare.
It is a three bed roomed house which sleeps six people comfortably and has all mod.
cons. Very nearby facilities include Ring of Kerry Golf Course, horse riding, hill walking, archaeological walks, forest and sea shore walks. It is an ideal location for touring the Ring of Kerry and the lesser-known beautiful Ring of Beara.
The house is ideal for those who have a love of the Great Outdoors and quiet country living.
From Killarney - 45 min approx.
Take the N22 from Killarney & go 7 miles out the Cork Road. Turn right, onto the R569,where sign-posted for Kenmare. Go through the village of Kilgarvan. On arrival to Kenmare town take the N70 towards Sneem . After 3.5 miles you will pass a sign "Welcome to Templenoe". Take the left towards the Templenoe Pier 100 yards after this sign. After 50 yards turn right. The house is the last at the very end of this road.
From Cork - 1 hour
Take the N22 through Macroom & Ballyvourney. Turn left onto the R569, for Kenmare about 20 minutes after Ballyvourney. From Kenmare follow directions as above.
From Dublin - 5 hours
From Dublin take the N7 to Portlaoise. Then take the N8 through Cashel to Mitchelstown. From there take the N73 to Mallow. At Mallow take the N72 towards Killarney to the N22. Follow the directions as above from the N22.

Master Bedroom
The spacious master bedroom, with en-suite, includes a reading/meditation area which looks onto the bay.
Guest Room
This room which is just off the dining room contains a double bed and is en suite with a shower. The hot water tank for extra hot water is in the closet of this room.
Second Guest Room
This room has two single beds and is located just off the hallway. 3rd bathroom with shower is off the hallway.
Bathrooms, hallway sun lounge and kitchen have tiled flooring; all other areas have timber floors.

The kitchen contains all modern appliances, including dishwasher, washing machine/tumble drier and microwave. The dining area looks directly on to the sea.
Living Room
The living room also looks onto the bay and has a wood-burning stove. In this room is located the TV, DVD, Radio and CD.
Sun Lounge
Situated just off the living room and in front of the dining room is a lovely place to relax and take in the views.

This is an ideal location for touring the Ring of Kerry and the lesser known beautiful Ring of Beara. The house is ideal for those who have a love of the Great Outdoors and quiet country living.
The Kenmare Way is only a 5 minute walk from the house. With the McGillcuddy Reeks to its back and the Caha range facing the house from across the bay, this is also the perfect location for hill walkers.
Killarney is a 30 min. by car, here you can the stunning Killarney National Park, see the magnificent Torc Waterfall and walk around Ross Castle, which is steeped in history.
Visit Blackwater river and numerous other good fishing rivers and lakes are all within a half hour by car. The Ring Of Kerry Golf course is 5 min by car. Kenmare with its range of top class restaurants and bars are just 5 min away and has good taxi service available.
Dingle and Sleah Head are 1.5 hours away, Glengariffe with Garnish Island 30 min and Bantry with Bantry house one hours drive.
Within Driving Distance

There are an abundance archaeological sites within one hour drive of Kenmare town. Organised professional tours are available from Kenmare itself.
Water sports are readily available from a number of operators including Star Sailing. Swimming and sun bathing are possible off the garden or at Cois Strand, pebble beach, (5 min.) Castle Cove and Caher Daniel 1 hour with beautiful sand beaches. Horse Riding available within 3min drive.
