Welcome to our cozy Guest Cottages situated on a 50-acre working farm in County Kerry, Ireland.
Hazel Fort Farm offers a choice of two comfortable, fully furnished, self-catering guest homes with complete kitchen facilities.
Located on the scenic premises of George Kelly’s 50-acre farm, each private residence features its own unique and spectacular view of the McGillycuddy Reeks.
Ivy Lodge and Hazel Fort both have their own central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, T.V., patio and barbeque.
Open fires are permitted. We're sorry but pets are not permitted.
Both facilities have earned a Four Star Rating from the Irish Tourist Board.

 Located in the Ring of Kerry, between Killarney and Killorglin, Hazel Fort is an ideal starting point to explore this spectacularly scenic area by car.
The Farm
There are also a variety of animals that you will be able to see while you are on the farm. A family of goats, a pot bellied pig, a flock of white geese and a Kerry cow are all part of the farm experience. Several friendly Border Collies that George Kelly has bred live on the farm and adore all of their human visitors.

A charming and cozy 19th Century stone farmhouse lovingly renovated in 1987 with the purpose of preserving the building’s original character.

There are many destinations nearby including Molls Gap, scenic vantage points and, of course, the town of Killarney, itself a popular destination. Killarney offers excellent dining, shopping, bicycle rentals, and horse drawn carriage rides to Muckross House. A variety of nearby activities await, whether you prefer Irish Music, pubs, golfing, sailing, windsurfing, shooting, horse riding, hill walking, climbing, diving or fishing.

There are also many activities available on and around the farm. Pony rides and fishing are popular activities for quiet days on the farm. Ballymalis Castle, an historic landmark, is just a short quiet walk from the farm. Once there, you may wish to explore the scenic banks of the river Laune.
