After 36 years this event has blossomed into one of Ireland’s largest and most anticipated literary events on the calendar. There are a range of workshops,  that deals with the diverse styles of writing. This is the ideal event for any budding writer. It gives them a chance to come, talk with established writers and help them build a platform with which to build their talent....

This is the 16th annual Easter Arts and Bumble Bee Festival that celebrates the arts throughout Kerry over the Easter weekend. All things artistic such as music, crafts, culture, film and literature will be celebrated and there will be a parade with floats from artistic groups from around the county. The Bumble Bee Festival is for the kids, to let their imaginations run wild with workshops and events while working with ceramics, photography, painting and plenty more....

The festival consists of a series of hands on workshops for Primary School children.  Muckross Research Library works closely with Muckross Traditional Farms in the running of this event....

A world percussion festival featuring the bodhrán, the Irish frame drum. This festival has competitions, workshops, concerts and street entertainment with percussionists and traditional Irish musicians from all over the world....

Ireland oldest festival is held on the 10th, 11th and 12th of August annually. Come to Killorglin to see the crowning of Irelands only King, a puck goat!
