This is the 16th annual Easter Arts and Bumble Bee Festival that celebrates the arts throughout Kerry over the Easter weekend. All things artistic such as music, crafts, culture, film and literature will be celebrated and there will be a parade with floats from artistic groups from around the county. The Bumble Bee Festival is for the kids, to let their imaginations run wild with workshops and events while working with ceramics, photography, painting and plenty more....

One of Irelands most famous annual events, drawing crowds from all over the world as people come back home to Ireland after perhaps generations of being away. The festival includes a parade, free open-air concerts and lots more in the way of fun and merriment. The event is topped off by the crowning of the Rose, as decided by the panel of judges who evaluate which girl has the nicest personality....

After harvest time comes the threshing. Come and see how it was done in the past such as the steam powered threshing machine, the flour milling, and the other vintage machinery from days of yore. There is plenty else to do and see such as the classic cars, wood turning and some activities for the kiddies....

This is the 8th year that the traditional Irish Music style of Sliabh Luachra is celebrated. Con Curtin himself is a master of this nearly forgotten art and all are welcome to come to meet the legend himself. Good craic and merriment is assured to be had by all....

The Kerry Film Festival was set up in 2000. The festival screens films around County Kerry and also promotes Kerry as a film destination. Awards include, Best Short Animation, Best Short Documentary and Best Director....

The festival caters for all members of the family with a line up that includes childrens sports, motorised treasure hunt, bonny baby competition, glamorous granny competition along with many other fun events. The main attraction of the festival is the Cailin Alainn competition where all the entrants are paraded through the town!!
