The Blasket Islands can be viewed on one side and an 18-hole links golf course on the other, with Mount Brandon, Ireland's second highest mountain, in the background.

In addition to weekly bookings beginning on Saturday, Dun An Oir accepts 7-night bookings beginning on Friday & Sunday for certain periods along with weekend & midweek stays.

Dun an Oir lies in the heart of the peninsula, a place where the Irish language is the spoken tongue, where traditions have been preserved for thousands of years.
