At the roundabout at the entrance of the town, take a right turn. Then take the second left. Benners Hotel is located on the Main Street in cultural Dingle town.
Rooms
The guestrooms in the hotel are very spacious, bright and comfortable. Each of the bedrooms has en-suite facilities and some even have four-poster beds. You’ll find it very hard to leave these wonderful rooms but needless to say nature will be calling you to discover the magic of the Dingle Peninsula and surrounding countryside.
Facilities
Mrs Benners Bar
Sit in front of a blazing fire with an Irish whiskey or an Irish coffee in Mrs Benners Bar. The dark woods and antique fixtures and furnishing will have you reminiscing of years gone by. This is a perfect place for an intimate chat with your partner or good ‘craic’ with friends.
Coastguard Restaurant
You could sit and dine at the Coastguard Station all day while you watch the fishing boats go by and admire the uninterrupted and unique scenery from the large windows. Walkers Paradise
Explore the scenery first hand with an exhilarating walk though the Dingle countryside. There are lots of hidden walkways where you can discover the flora and fauna as well as the rugged and beautiful landscape. The Dingle Way and The Kerry Way walks are more for experienced walkers and well worth doing if you can. There are a number of walks to do that would suit any ability and age!
The Pilgrims Route
The Pilgrim Route is an interesting scenic walk over 48km. It connects many early Christian sites – step back in time and discover the history that the Dingle Peninsula has become renowned for.
Your journey begins in Dingle and takes off in the direction of Ventry, then continuing north to Riasc. Travel along the Older Saints Road to Kilmalkedar Church with rolling green fields and heather filled mountains as your background. Follow the minor road to Cloghane.
Information and maps can be obtained from any of the tourist offices in the area.
