Some of the rooms are on the ground floor and in the morning you can be sure of an excellent breakfast. The sitting room is at your disposal where you can meet some of your fellow tourists and watch the fishing boats coming home in the evenings. The house has its own private car parking and the gardens are also at your disposal. You could always take this opportunity to learn a few words of Irish - this is a Gaelthacht area and the owners speak Irish.
Dingle town is home to some of the finest pubs and restaurants in the country. There are many opportunities to go angling here as well, including off the pier in Dingle Town itself. You can find some horse riding just a kilometre away, just ask the owners for directions. If you prefer golf, then the excellent 18-hole links course in Ballyferriter is only about 14km away. Other leisure activities you can find in the nearby area include cycling, boat hire, hill walking (including the Dingle Way) and orienteering.
Dingle is home to many of the finest beaches in the country including some of the best surfing beaches in the world. One good beach for swimming is Inch Beach and for surfing you can visit Brandon, Inch, Coumeenole, Anauscal river mouth, Ballinskelligs, St. Finnians or Ballybunion.
